From the Author

As a parent/care-giver, the safety and well-being of our children are our foremost concerns. It is essential that we teach them empathy, resilience, and the importance of being kind to others — qualities that this book helps to instill. 

I have tried my best to tackle this difficult subject with sensitivity and understanding, to make it possible for younger children to grasp the concept of bullying and the impact it can have on individuals.

I intentionally left the conversation in the barn, between Tyler and Ivan, vague so that the reader and child can create their own way(s) to solve the problem. I believe this book can serve as a great conversation starter for parents and educators alike.
